Fairfax City continues to lag behind Northern Virginia as a whole in terms of percentage of homes going under contract. In May, 15% of the homes for sale in the City of Fairfax went under contract compared to over 20% for all of Northern Virginia. Fairfax City numbers did improve in May, both compared with April and with the previous May. You can see the statistics in the spreadsheet below.
